Professional Oklahoma Educators

The Professional Oklahoma Educators Foundation is committed to making Oklahoma a better place for teachers to teach and for students to learn. The annual Excellence in Education Merit Awards Banquet is an opportunity for business and community leaders to partner with the Foundation to honor outstanding Oklahoma educators who demonstrate leadership, dedication, and a commitment to student and teacher excellence.

The ninth annual Excellence in Education Merit Awards Banquet will be held on Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Petroleum Club in Oklahoma City. This special night of fine dining, musical entertainment, speakers and award presentations will begin at 6:30 p.m.

This evening will be an encouragement not only to Oklahoma educators, but also to the many businesses and organizations that have a stake in the character building and intellectual development of the children who will shape our community in the future.

Many sponsorship opportunities are available, and contributions to the Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, are tax-deductible. You may contribute to the Foundation through our online store. Tickets are also available at a rate of $50 each to Professional Oklahoma Educators members and $65 each to non-members.
