Ten years after the founding of Professional Oklahoma Educators, Executive Director Ginger Tinney saw her vision for a better way to fund charitable awards and activities realized. In 1998, through much hard work and dedication, the Professional Oklahoma Educators Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, was established.

The Professional Oklahoma Educators Foundation serves as a support organization for Professional Oklahoma Educators and provides valuable educational training and services to teachers and students across the state.

The Professional Oklahoma Educators Foundation currently sponsors many events, including the annual Leadership Training Conference, an annual Excellence in Education Awards Banquet and a variety of professional development workshops and seminars. The Foundation also sponsors the popular TIVY Math Competitions and Opry Heritage Concert Series shows for Oklahoma students.

Each year, the Foundation's many charitable activities and events make a positive difference in the lives of Oklahoma educators and students.
